Jessica Shang is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rochester, and a Staff Scientist at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics. Her research group is interested in interdisciplinary problems in fluid mechanics. Her group uses modeling and experiments at laser facilities such as OMEGA and LCLS to measure transport properties and turbulent flows at high energy density conditions. She is the recipient of an ONR Summer Research Faculty Fellowship and the NSF CAREER Award.
